Winter is fast approaching here in Utah so I decided to make an OWB holster that I can conceal with a winter coat. I have only made IWB holsters so I had to start from scratch. I think it turned out great. I put a reinforced lip on it using a piece of elk skin with a thin strip of spring steel sandwiched in the middle. The elk skin had a real pretty grain which it unfortunately lost when I stained it. I think I will try some snake or ostrich skin on the next one. I pre-curved the holster to the shape of my hip so its very comfortable to wear.
