Completed the required Handun Safety Course over the weekend for my Tennessee Carry Permit. Proficiency in shooting must be demonstrated by hitting 35 out of 50 rounds at 3 yds (18 rounds), 7 yds (18 rounds), and 15 yds (14 rounds). No problem for my P250 compact 9mm.

Nice shooting. The course of fire I shoot for my CCW is a little more difficult, but I love the way the 9mm compact works. The trigger slows you down a little. I'm a big believer in shot placement, so slowing down to get solid hits is acceptable. Keep us posted on your 250 range time.

I have about 350 rounds through it so far. No problems whatsoever. I struggled a bit at the 15 yd distance but that will come with practice. Slowing down is a key.

That is essentially what I had to do get my 40hr pre-basic here in Indiana. Had to hit a few more though. We had to do 80% which would've been 40 out of 50. Congrats on passing.

I would have barely made the grade in Indiana. I made 41 out of 50. The P250 is my first handgun so I was happy to qualify with it.
