Now, I've shot enough guns to know that this isn't supposed to happen on a firearm with adjustable sites and that there is a tool designed to adjust them. Now my question would be that if I bought this gun, which was listed as NEW from Bud's Gun Shop...why would I be having this problem? I further inspected the site and it actually appears that it was forcefully adjusted and stripped on the sides...I can include pictures later. If its easily fixed I'm going to have a gunsmith handle it, but any clue as to why this would happen?

Did you try adjusting them or did it come that way?

If the later, I would contact Bud's and see what they can do. If they can't help, I would call Sig CS and they may take care of the problem. Good luck and please keep us posted.

So I gave sig a call and they were more than happy to offer Me a new front site. They gave me the option of either sending the firearm to them, which would have been about a 3 week turn around, or having the sight sent to me and having a gunsmith take care of it. Needless to say....I opted for latter because I like to target shoot as much as possible.

Mark Hanson of Sig Sauer was more than helpful. He sent me a new front sight and I took the firearm to a gunsmith later that day, but to no avail. The gunsmith was unable to tap it on and actually damaged the brand new sight that I had received. I contacted Mark Hanson for a 2nd attempt and he was very happy to help me out. I sent the gun out with the old sight and the new, now damaged sight. What I had originally expected them to do was fix the sight that I had previously received and attempt to reattach it, but I was greatly surprised and very happy when I received the firearm with a brand new sight on it! Thank you so much Sig Sauer, and a special thanks for Mark Hanson of Sig Sauer for all his help!

rfedeli, what was the turn around time on your slide? Mine has been at SIG for 3 weeks now. CS could not give me a estimate of when it would be done. I am impatient to get my P250c to the range for the first time. One of the officers I work with has the P250c in .40 S&W and it shoots real good. I hope my daughters 9mm is just as good.
