Are there any available steel spring guides for the p250? Mine is getting a bit worn out. Will the spring guide of the Glock 19 fit this pistoL?

I ordered one from Steve Bedair. He doesn't have them listed on his website, but if you contact him via email, he can set you up with one.

Only thing you'll need to decide is if you want a full circle front, or one with the flats like the factory rod. The full circle front has some issues where the front of the rod gets caught on the slide when you rack it slowly. It doesn't happen when you rack it hard and fast, so I doubt it would occur during use. I emailed Steve with some options for eliminating this. We'll see what he thinks. I just got this rod yesterday so I haven't shot with it yet.

I don't want him to put the flats back on because the full circle front with the checkering looks AWESOME, imho. Way better than the factory guide rod.

Here's mine:

I ordered one from Steve too, with the flats like the original. He is a great guy and quick to ship.

I had problems with mine hanging up on the barrel, it wouldn't seat back in the correct position and the front of the rod would stick out past the slide. After comparing it with the original it looked identical, however the lip on the on the larger diameter section (not sure of the correct term for it) but the round part ya can see on the right end of equality's pic, was very sharp. I just hit it with some 1200 grit paper and slightly rounded it off and it works great now, slides right back into position without hanging up.

Then I'm off to go get some 1200 grit!
I mentioned rounding off the edges to Steve, or trying some oil in strategic places. The oil didn't work so I'll try the roundover.

I don't think Steve blues them. But you could do it yourself with a cold bluing touch up kit, like this one from Brownell's. You could also use it to touch up your barrel, which I'm sure looks streaky and smilie by now too...but it won't last on the barrel.
As far as the name, it does have a blue/black hue, and I guess "Bluing" sounds smoother than "Blacking"...who knows!!

Cool, thanks. What is the advantage of having this metal, besides it looks cool?

Oh yeah, I think your grip on the P250 needs some work in that last pic. Flapper Laugh

More durable. Lighter recoil. More weight under barrel could equal better balance, depending on your particular grip style. Less climb....
...or so I'm told, since I haven't actually used it in the gun yet!!

Hey, it's hard enough getting a pic of the muzzle without violating Rule #2, nevermind maintaining proper grip! At least my thumb wasn't on the trigger....!

The only annoying thing about this guide rod is that i it squeaks like people having sex on an old bed... Pretty annoying, made me switch back to the plastic guide rod as of now.
