Like that Spyderco. Are they really worth the money? Im the type of guy that would rather carry a $10 box cutter than buy a $200-$300 knife.

The one pictured is a Para Military MSRP is $229 ( ouch ), I bought it on a knife forum used for $80 delivered.

When I can buy a lightly used knife for close to 66% off retail, and it has a life time warranty I think it's a good investment in a quality tool.

100 % of my user knives and multitools are purchased " lightly used ", at a substantial savings ( same holds true with Surefire flashlights ).

Buying off a forum ( knife, multitool, flashlight , etc ) is a very wise choice if you are looking for quality merchandise at a substantial discount.

However ALL of the discontinued models of Spydercos I have are new in box ( better investment than $$$ in a bank).

I am on the prowl for a "lightly used " Spyderco Military - Titanium

Nice, way out of my price tho. I never really was big into knives, but some are just to kool to pass up.

I have a CRKT that I really like. They can be had in the $50 range. I picked up this Ignitor about 3-4 months ago. It keeps an edge way better/longer than my Kershaw did.

You would think at first glance. The slide and controls have CeraPlate from CCR, so it stays looking new.

They have CeraHide (not as durable, but still good) that also comes in black, but I think the CeraPlate only comes in that color. They have lots of other otions too that have many color choices.
