If anyone's looking for a P250C in 9 mm, I have one that I'll be selling soon. Extra grip frame, extra magazines, etc.

I can be found here: LRD at Lee-Reid dot com

I just paid $449 for a new full size, stainless slide, 9mm, with night sights from my local gun shop. Made in April of 2010.

Knew nothing about the gun, but it seemed like a pretty good deal so I went with it.

I paid $1,500 for my 250C in 9mm with three magazines - mind you, I am overseas where it is not easy to buy a gun. You need to apply for a permit first, and the wait is 1+ years. And when your application is finally approved, you have another wait for your weapon and you are limited to what the few dealers have in stock.

Seems like in your situation that the p250 was the best choice seen as though you can modify it to be any gun; large, med small, etc etc etc

Exactly, but they make it very difficult here. The dealer also had a 2sum, but he was awaiting approval from the government to sell it, because they had a problem with selling 2 guns on one license. I am planning to purchase an xchange kit on my next visit to the US, and bring it in the country as gun parts.

I went back to the dealer that had an used "old style" P250 Compact 9mm for $479 and he now has a new "new style" P250 compact 9mm with night sights for... $479! He says he has more than one AND he does layaway. I think I will have to go gunless for a few months and sell my Hi-Point C9 so I can put the money down on one of them.
