After every shoot, but not neccessarily the same day. If I go 3 days without cleaning it after a shoot I start to get antsy.

Can't leave 'em dirty. Even if I shoot a variety of weapons in a range session, they all get cleaned before they get put to bed.

I try to clean after I shoot, but you know how that goes. Sometimes life gets in the way.

I run the bore snake as soon as the barrel cools, and then field strip a day or two later. Then during winter, sometimes I will clean just because... |

Once in a great while if it had light use during the last firing I may only Bore Snake it and re-lube if I don't have time to do a full cleaning. Other than those rare occasions I may not get right to cleaning immediately but it will happen eventually. I enjoy cleaning guns but don't always have the time to get right to it.

I clean the pistol within a couple days after firing it. I wash my truck twice a year whether it needs it or not. |
| When they come for my 6 shooter, they had better bring seven men. |

I sometimes I dissemble it and shoot some spray bore cleaner or even spray carb cleaner just to get rid of most of the dirt, if I can't clean it right away.

I almost always clean it the same day after coming back from the range, or at the worst by the next day. |
| "clip" and "kill shot" should never be uttered by self-respecting firearm owners. |
