Here is a quick and dirty range report after shooting only 200 rounds today due to time & my wife. Total rounds through the 250c so far is about 400 including todays 100, obviously still learning to shoot it. It was my first time shooting the 250sub.

Put 100 WWB down range with the 250c and the only issue I had was with one of my magazines the slide would not lock open after the last round. The other mag had no problems. Other than that knock wood, no issues what so ever, shot like a dream. Here is a pic from the cell phone after my last 15 from 25 feet slow fire (the 2 head & neck/shoulder are from shooting the 250sub rapid fire at 25 feet and trying to get 2 in the head.

Second 100 rounds, also WWB, went to the 250sub. The 250sub was an awesome little gun to shoot. I was surprised not only with how smooth and easy it was to shoot, but also how accurate it was for such a small gun.ThumbsUp I didn't take any pics of the targets I shot with it however in the above picture you can see that at 25 feet rapid fire I did get the one head shot and the second head shot ended up in the neck/shoulder area. Not bad, and considering this was my first time shooting the 250sub I was needless to say very happy with it. Unlike the big brother 250c, the sub had no issues with the slide locking back after the last round.

Overall I love them both!! ThumbsUp I have the 250c as my winter carry and even in summer wth cargo shorts and a t-shirt I think the MTAC will hide it quite well. The 250sub is a given for super easy concealed carry. Two big thumbs up to both of them. I had my doubts with all the teething problems they have had but it seems as though Sig has worked those out.

Hope you enjoyed the report.
Stay safe all!

That's from 25 yards?

Yeah, 25 feet, slow fire though, not real slow, but I did get a good sight picture before I shot. I actually bring a measureing tape, spool type. I practice at 7 yards (21 feet), 15 yards (45 feet) and 25 yards (75 feet) and yes I measure out each one, my wife thinks I am nuts. I know I am anal. I learned in the academy that while most gunfights take place wihtin 10 to 20 feet, it does not hurt to be accurate and fast out to a good distance. And always on IDPA targets, I like that they are about the width of a man. I put the smaller targets on that to really try and get my groups small and tight.

If all of those shots are from 25 yards, I am amazed. Especialy from a compact. It looks like it was shot from a vise. Seriously. On top of that, WWB. WOW.

Yeah, 25 feet. I shoot A LOT. And not to be arrogant but I am a pretty decent shot and when you throw a lot of practice on top of that well, there you go. I can do almost the same thing with my P-30. No vise, no sandbag etc. I will see if the wife would be willing to video the next time I go out and I will have her video. No guarantees but I am pretty consistent. WWB is not all bad, it is a decently accurate practice ammo. The comapct is surprisingly accurate.

dosborn81,

I am an idiot, I went and double checked the tape measure, it was 25 feet. The feet are in black. Anyway, I was looking at the feet (black numbers) I mixed it up. I started thinking 75 feet is a loooong way. Never claimed to be a math genius. I'll still have the wife video the next range trip if I can.Cursing

Nice shooting. Glad to hear on the sub that it is smooth and accurate.

Great shooting! I have an early 250 9mm compact.

The way you practice is the exact same way I practice. I shoot maybe 100 to 150 rnds a session and start at 21 ft, then 45 feet and then 75 ft.
I practice at an indoor range with all the bell and whistles of a state of the art indoor range so I know the distances are pretty dead on.

I usually can unload two mags or 30 rnds, into one ragged hole with a few outside a inch out. Looks very similar to yours.

Glad to know I am doing something similar to someone who has more training then I do!
