Hi,

On my new 250 the grip is not checkered on the front and rear straps, it's stippled to give a griptape like texture that I'm really happy with. I see quite a bit of variety w/the grip surfaces, wondering if anyone knows what's the standard?

I have been seeing that the 9,40 and 357 have "stripes" on the front and back of the grip. I have the .45 and the grip has the same texture on the front and back like the sides have.

I was at the NRA Show here in Phoenix, and that seems to be the marked difference between the .45 and the other calibers. Besides the stippled texturing, the 'Sig Sauer' brand is embossed up higher on the sides of the grip.

FWIW, the sub-compacts that had on demo display all seemed to to have the same texture as the .45's do.
