Anyone use or seen one of these? Heres the link http://www.ajaxgrips.com/ajax/clipdraw My Texas CHL should be in within the month and I'm exploring carry options. I like the fact that it doesnt permanently alter the pistol. I know its not preferred but I do "Mexican Carry" around the house quite a bit. This would be just a bit bigger than the knife that is always clipped to my pants. I would wear it IWB. Any thoughts?

I looked at one for my 85 Taurus ("J" frame revolver). I think you just have to remove/replace two screws to install the clip. On an auto I think you would have to drill and tap the slide. I wouldn't want to do that to a gun that has any value. Might try it on a High Point. If you try it, please let me know how it turns out. Good luck.

Taken from the website:

The "Universal" Clipdraw attaches in seconds with 3M Corp. #4941 VHB (very high bond) double coated tape. VHB tape is used in the construction and aircraft industries as a replacement for rivets. It provides a 20 lb. continuous bond that resists oil, solvents, heat and vibration. Heavy recoil and rapid slide movement have no effect on the bond strength between gun and Clipdraw. The Clipdraw stays solidly in place with adhesion actually increasing over time. The "Universal" Clipdraw consists of two parts. The mounting plate attaches to the gun with the double coated tape. The clip part screws to the mounting plate with two 1/8" button head screws.

Attaches with 3M tape. So not permanent. For $14.95 I might give it a go. I'll take pics if and when.

Did yours bolt on or was it the 3M adhesive tape? I'm kinda worried about tape coming off and loosing pistol down my draws. Got enough loose cannons in my trousers if ya know what i mean.
