Has anyone used the Blackhawk Serpa CQC holster, and if so how do you like it? I have been looking at it as a OWB option for my new P250, and I like the retention system and belt/paddle option. Thanks for any info.

ive actually had quite a problem finding the SEPRA holster that fits the P250 smoothly. Sig has a model which says will fit the P250 (model # is in the holster thread) but when i tried it, the gun was TIGHT and the holster barely locked the gun into place. removing it was equally difficult. i dont know if there was a running change or something with blackhawk, but i have yet to try one that fits the P250 from blackhawk.

i picked up a serpa holster from the Sportsmans Wharehouse down the road from me and it works fine, it says, if i can remember, that it fits the sig 226,228,229,and 250c,. I got the serpa and a galco paddle holster for my p250 and the serpa is more comfortable by far. The paddle edges on the galco holster curve way in and it feels like its pinching me and the holster has two screws for passive, i believe the term is, retention but the serpa paddle is comfortable even while sitting, it even comes with a belt loop conversion piece it also has the passive and positive retention.

I also just picked up the Blackhawk P250 holster (part # 410505BK-R) and it fits well. I had a bit of an issue with the holster though, I had to open 3 holsters of the same model, before I found one that wasnt tight. it seems there was a running change that Blackhawk made to the holsters. be sure that the one you buy has the P250 listed on the actual holster as a compatible model. Blackhawk prints the compatible models into each CQC holster they make, so in addition to the sticker on the outside packaging, be sure to check the holster as well.

yea on the left side of the outside of the right handed CQC holster, by the muzzle end, i found what the holster can hold, it says Sig 228/229/250DC. It's comfortable piece of plasitc i like these holsters alot.

the one thing i did to my CQC holster was to shave down a barb on the center portion of the paddle. this barb only seems to serve as another way to eliminate the chance of the paddle coming up when drawing the weapon, but i found it INCREDIBLY annoying when trying to remove the holster from my pants. the barb would get stuck & i would almost have to take my belt & pants off & then temove the holster from it. there are 2 other barbs that hold onto the belt from the outside, so i wasnt concerned with removing this one. After I shaved down the barb, removing the holster was much easier, and its still held securely in place by the paddle and the other 2 barbs. I have NEVER seen a holster with a barb where the blackhawk holster places one, but i guess for some people it gives them that extra degree of security.
