Does anyone know if there is a kit or replacement spring that will reduce the weight of the trigger pull of the 9mm 250?

I'm pretty sure if the trigger pull was any lighter the firing pin wouldn't strike the primer hard enough. some people are already having light primer strikes. i suggest you get out to the range and practice a little bit more. try dry firing at home, or try the short trigger and small grip frame if it is still an issue. the p250 is a very versatile gun, but i don't think you will find any way to reduce the weight of the trigger pull without compromising the dependability of the gun. |

I agree with KC. The trigger pull is fine as it is. It does take some getting used to, hence the need to practice your dry firing. Also if it were any lighter it would suggest its striking force would decrease also seeing that it is double action, unless SIG redesigned the mechanism on a whole which would change the ratio of force of pull vs the force stored in the spring and I think that would deviate from the original intent of the gun.

I was on the range today and concentrated on the front sight and the target. I didn't think about the trigger and it wasn't a problem. Just smooth. I think, previously, my focus was more on the trigger pull than the sight.

As an update...a member pointed out that the European version which I have is about an 8lb. pull while the US version is about 5lb. That would of course make the difference I was looking for.
I have checked with my gunsmith who says they can get the parts required from the US to change the pull. Can anyone tell me what what those parts wold be so I can determine if the price they end up giving me is reasonalbe.??
Thanks.

guess i didn't realize you were from Switzerland. i would assume it would be the only spring in the trigger assembly. not 100% sure tho. |

Just received my 250 today and am very pleased with the trigger pull. Very smooth and didn't seem long to me at all. Can't wait to get to the range to test it!

Hi all. This is a long over due update. I was enthusiatic about the original feedback I received that the necessary parts, trigger spring only I think, were available. After many weeks of waiting I was told today by the Swiss iimporter that they have many requests but the parts are not available for import.
I have gotten no other explanation. It seems to me that it can not be export restrictions considering it is just a spring.
Can anyone suggest a place to order...maybe a good after market producer?
