...maybe never? I mean really, how hard is it to manufacture such a simple part? I sent an email yesterday asking if the short trigger was available. An email from Sig Support received this morning:

Quote:

Unfortunately, at this time there is no short trigger available.

Regards,
Natasha

Well folks, I took the plunge (the 14.95 shipping plunge) and bought the short trigger off the web site. Got it in a couple of days and gingerly followed the wonderful FCU disassembly instructions part way to remove my stock trigger and install the new short trigger. After comparing the two, I didn't see all that much difference dimensionally. After complete reassemly, I dry fired to my satisfaction that reassembly was done properly and anxiously waited for my next opportunity to shoot the new trigger. To make a long story short, I had to convince myself that the reset was shorter; that the trigger was narrower, that I shot better (which I did, although there could be multiple reasons for that, like less coffee that morning, more rest the previous night, more determination to be patient and consider what you want to accomplish with each round downrange, etc., etc. ). So bottom line, inconclusive to me. I think it's better. If it's shorter, I guess I don't know how to quantitatively measure from what point to what point in the trigger pull and return to point of reset. Sorry I can't be more positive, just being honest. I still love the damn gun with either trigger.
