I decided to put together a tutorial for making holsters. Please tell me what ya think. Here's the holster I made. It's for a Walther PPK and will be a xmas gift for my step-dad. One question, when you say "back stitch" what is that in reference to? Just going back through the previous holes?

Exactly  ... Just go back through the previous holes ya just ran the thread through. Helps to lock the thread in place

Well, I've just finished dying my first attempt at an OWB holster. I'm going to start forming it in a few minutes, it's a really tight fit. I think I cut the pocket a little narrow. We'll see. Is there a chance that if it's too small the leather will harm the gun's finish?
