Just Ordered .357 X-Change Kit

Out of curiosity, is the only difference between the .357sig kit and the .40S&W kit the barrel? If so I might end up ordering a barrel somewhere down the road just to have another caliber and I guess a better practice round, recoil wise, for the .357sig round.

You are correct. Just the barrel is different; everything else including magazines are the same, just marked different. I had a 357 barrel on order for my 40SW upper but got sick of waiting. The last time I heard, they are in stock now.

What about the slide spring? Does that need to change when putting a .40 cal barrel in a .357 x-change kit? For .40 to .357 conversion on some guns you have to change the barrel and spring.
