I need some help with this new malfunction, as in causes and how to fix it. Today at the range, half way through a magazine, I would pull the trigger and nothing. So, when I drop the mag it falls free, as well as a loose cartridge. After this happened several times, I finally left the magazine in and slowly pulled the slide back to see if I could get a look at what was happening. Of course, empty chamber. But, what's really throwing me for a loop is that I could see a round upside down, primer up, in the magazine. As I pulled the slide back further the round was ejected out by the magazine spring tension and the next round was in normal feeding position. Any ideas guys?

Strange, sounds to me like the mag wasnt seated in all the way. It might have been but came lose or something. How many times did this happen?

Im sure its not an ammo thing so you can rule that out. My guess would be to clean your mags with a tooth brush, NOT THE ONE THAT YOUR USING NOW TO BRUSH YOUR TEETH WITH, and clean and inspect the mag catch itself to make sure that there is no dirt or grime on it.

Thanks for the quick replies guys. Any help is apprecieated. To further clarify, mags were seated all the way and it happened with 2 different mags. One mag cleaned recently, the other factory new.
