Finally got to shoot my 250 fot the first time today.I'm new to pistols so didn't know what to expect.Loved the feel of the gun and was suprised at how accurate it was(I'll say "it" was because I'm still learning). The first 180 rounds did great, then it jammed while chambering a round three times in a row. After that it fired the next 20 rounds with no problems.I was shooting Magtech 115gr FMJ.All in all I fired 200 rds.I'm very happy with the gun and can't wait to get to the range again. Not sure if I should be concerned with the jams or not.Any Ideas? |

It's quite common for a gun of any make to have issues in the first 2-3 hundred rounds. The parts are just getting worn into each other and finding their groove, hence the idea of not carrying a gun until you've run at least 200 rounds through it (some say as many as 500). Shouldn't be a problem, but mentally note what the issue was and if it continues or if you get a lot of them, maybe have it looked at. Glad the trip was fun, you've got a great first gun! :)

Congrats. Keep us posted if it continues. Give it a few trips, just as Ananael said. |

Too funny... That's a similar story to mine when I let one of my CHL instructors fire my P250 .45 compact. He's always been a hardcore Sig guy normally carrying a 228 or 229, but after throwing some lead down range with the 250 he was a changed man. Gotta love it when a gun does that to a person. :)

Thought I'd give a quick update. After that first time at the range and a couple of jams,I've put over 800 rds thru my 250 compact in only 4 range trips(I may be addicted)and haven't had a single problem. Also added a Supertuck holster which I love the feel of.CC class coming up in two weeks.Life is good |
