Italian Meatball soup with homemade croutons, parmesan cheese & garlic bread. Ravens Rouge wine ( from Ravens Glenn winery in Cochocton, Ohio) and a tutone P250c in .45acp to protect it!

How is that wine? My father in law is really big into wine and hes been looking around for something different. Hes real big on a dry wine and bold wine. My wife enjoys a smooth wet wine. Any recommendations?
I hate wine give me some Jameson Irish whiskey and tall glass of Guinness extra stout served at 33 degrees and Im a happy man. And no Im not Irish, so dont send me kisses for St. Pattys day!!
