I received my barrel by Fed Ex yesterday. My moment of joy was interrupted by a moment of concern when I looked at and assembled it. The bottom of the barrel where the recoil spring assembly sits is flat compared to the milled semi-circular area of my other two barrels...a picture is attached. Left to right is 9mm, 40SW, and 357Sig. The spring assembly can wiggle back and forth compared to sitting snugly in the milled area. I sent an e-mail out to the rep I've been corresponding to about this. The barrel is also wicked tight in the upper. I lubed it and had to partially rack it - not back far enough to hit the slide lock to get it to smooth out...but it's still not as 'loose' as with the other two barrels. I'll let you know their response and ask the group - especially the 45 guys - what the bottom of their barrel looks like. Thanks File Attachment(s):

My .45 barrel looks like either of the left two (can' tell the difference) but for sure not the one on the far right. It looks like they missed a step

That's what I was thinking - that they missed a step. I'm still waiting on a reply to my e-mail. I don't want to try it out until I hear back from them.
One other things about it on the side where it shows the caliber...my other two show the 'P250' model etched into the side along with the caliber...this one just has the '357Sig' designator. I know it's not a big deal, but it is pride of ownership in my weapon and I would appreciate the model displayed on it also. Not a big deal, but it just feels like a cut corner...unless it's the same barrel as other models, then it really is a cut corner.

I agree. For what we spend on these kits, they should match. If it is also missing a stamp, that make me lean even more towards the "missed step(s)" theory.
Keep us posted.

I spoke with Customer Service this morning and the barrel isn't right. It's going back to them later today.

When I spoke with CS rep yesterday about the .357 barrel he said that they had some issues with their last run and pulled them, maybe you helped them with this. He told me the new run was set for this week, I wanted to order one but I won't have my new P250C 40 until Saturday so I will wait until I can shoot it some and then get in line for the run.
Please give an update when you get yours.

Yeah...'issues' puts it mildly. They might as well not bothered to bore it out they way they sent the thing out to me. I hope they're looking for a new (or establishing the first) QC position there. My last communication with the over it was at the end of Jan and it went like..."We have them manufactured however we are going through all of the barrels to make sure they are not all incorrectly cut. Shouldn't be much longer and I apologies for the inconvenience."
The good news about this is that it's kept me from splurging unnecessarily on a new ammo caliber.
