The spring that is exposed on the right side below the hammer is "floppy" and does not seem very secure. Once it is in the frame it appears fine but it makes me nervous every time I clean around it. Does anybody else see this or is it just me?

It's not just you, I have noticed the same thing in mine, not sure if it is a problem or not yet. I guess time will tell

Right on. I have to send it off anyway (slide closes when I insert a full mag) but I will mention it in my note and see if it's any different when I get it back. I will let you know.

The spring is loose to allow removal of the bar and swap triggers with the short pull trigger. It is not a problem when in the grip module as the grip module limits the lateral movement or the spring. From what I can tell it is the reset spring that you are speaking of, the trigger spring is in the hammer.
