I still haven't picked up a 250C yet. I am trying to sell a few things first. My last reservation is the 239. I have considered that gun for a long time. Does anyone own both? If so, I would love to hear your thoughts regarding ease of carry, size comparisons, etc. Thanks!

I own both. I just got the 250C also got a 250 Subcompact. As far as the 239, it is an incredibly accurate little gun. Also very smooth, just a pleasure to shoot and easy to shoot well. I put Hogue rubber finger groove grips on it and I even have small hands and it is one of the best feeling pistols I own. It is hard to explain. In addition, in an MTAC, I literally forget it is there, and I can carry it in the MTAC with cargo shorts and a t-shirt and no printing at all, and I am only 5'6" 120 pounds. I know, tiny. HOWEVER, the "issue" I had with the 239 was the 8 round capacity. Yeah, I would always carry an extra mag or two, but this was one of the things that drew me to the 250c and 250 sub. I also love the trigger on the 250's. I know alot of people say too long blah blah blah. Well, you practice with something enough you get incredibly familiar with it and very proficient with it. Will the 250 win a speed race with a nice SA or striker fired? No, BUT, in the right hands it can still be pretty darn effective. And no, I am not a Sig fanboy, I own numerous HK's and a few Glocks as well. The P30 in .40 may be my holy grail of a gun when I can find one. But that is another discussion.

Thanks for the great response. To me, it means a lot to hear from someone who has real experience. I am relatively new to this forum, but I belong to & visit many others. I don't always find valuable information. Again, thanks!

I am in the same boat as cfiore --> but I dont' have a P250 sub. If you're looking get a carry pistol, look into the 250Sub.
One thing I might look into would be a Hogue grip. I don't like the 90 degree angle on the front strap w/the P239. I could also DAK it and add the wider and more round grips.
The P250's DAO is a great operating system, makes me really good when I run the DA/SA on the P239 or my wife's 1911.
I've come to where I like pistols w/hammers better overall, at least you get a 2nd chance with a light strike.

Love the 329 in 9mm. Had three of them over the years. I really think the 250 with the smallest grip is almost as small but with 7 more rnds. Trigger pull is in a different category altogether. I wish I had the $ to own both. Only have the 250 right now and love the weight, capacity, DAO trigger,... yeah, Loooong,...bla, bla,..who cares. Ever shoot a Smith DAO? No one ever complains about the trigger pull on them. Just don't get it. Instead of all the 250 bashing over there at the Sig Forum, they should try it.... or just ignore it. Sort of like just changing the station if you don't like what you're hearing.

Thanks for the info guys! I think I am going to sell my LCP & Stoeger Cougar & pick up the 250. I like the idea of the 250 2sum.
