I daily carry a P250cp-40 cal in a crossbreed supertuck IWB holstw

holster. I love it I am 5'8 180 pounds and where it with shorts and T-shirt and slacks and dress shirt. As long as I blouse my tuck in shirts I print very little, only when I bend over, I am hoping the subcompact will take care of that. I am waiting to put my hands on one to see, if there is not that much differance than I am very happy to stay with my compact.

I have conceal carried my 9mm 250 for over a year...tends to be a bit hot and significantly uncomfortable in the much warmer summer here in central Oregon. I had been waiting for the sub-compact as well ,but when I found out that it wasnt significantly smaller (enough for me) than the 250, I decided to look for another that would be more doable just during summer months. Well, I discovered ( for myself) the Walther 9mm PPS, and after much research purchased it. I could not be happier, except for the fact that it only carries a max of 8 + 1, ( but that is really minor issue). It is extremely thin, conceals far easier than the 250, shoots as well and recoil being a trace more than the 250, and has been 100% flawless. For a three inch barrel it is shocking. My friends who have shot it have been suprised, and become instant fans (and have grumbled that I got them hooked on yet another gun they now keep thinking about). I hear the 40 PPS has significantly more recoil than the 9 though. It seems to have become my year round carry now. I would never give up my flawless 250, and I still plan on carrying it from time to time.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I carry the 250 in a Fist K8 ultra thin Kydex. After trying several leathers and kydex this has been the most comfortable and versatile...also use a belly band at times, it pulls it in ( the belly too) even more, and offers additional positions/options.

I have never carried before, but I am considering. I am thinking about getting the PPS when I have a little more money. I have also found several SOB model holsters for the P250 that I am looking into. I think that with the size of a P250 this would be the most comfortable for me.

I also use a Crossbreed, but for my G27 and love it. Crosbreed is very comfotable and retention is perfect. I have found that the P250C is a little big for me co conceal unless I'm wearing a coat.

EvanS, SOB is a pain for me, literally. The P250 was too thick for that. It's okay if you stand all the time, but sitting down was next to impossible. It may work for you though.

IMO, unless you are a big guy or you have the SC, the P250 is a OWB/shoulder-rig gun.

I CCW with my P250 .45 (compact) in a Crossbreed Super Tuck. It is surprisingly comfortable and I really like being able to carry a .45. My biggest complaint about the P250 in .45 was the unavailability of holsters for it. The Crossbreed Super Tuck finally solved that.

SOB shouldn't be too hard for me. I am on my feet most of the day. If it doesn't work out I will probably invest in a smaller, lighter style weapon to carry IWB. Of course I could always OC my Sig OWB, but I don't know if the boss' wife would aprove of OC at work.

I carry in an IWB made by Shane in this forum. No problems with printing, very comfortable.

I've been carrying the 250 for a year and a half every day fro the last 1 1/2 years. I have settled on using the smallest grip in t-shirt weather for the slim profile, and the factory grip in the winter/fall seasons. In the summer, that slimmer grip makes it as easy to carry as the 239 9mm. At least for me. I am 5' 7" and 170 medium build and I went the inexpensive, yet sufficient way; High Noon Mister Softy. I got the one made for the 299R and it works perfectly!
