Guns are personal, everyone shoots a particular gun differently. So, this is my little story--off to the range I go with my 250,228 and 2022. 300rds later, I'm keeping the 250. Its the lightest of the 3, accuracy is on par with the 228, night sites like the 2022, smoothest trigger of the 3 and recoil equal to the 228's single action and it just fits my hand the best. No malfuntions on any of these guns. Thanks for reading my ramblings.

10-4

I picked up the 9mm sub compact at Proforce and compared it to the XDm. The Sig P250 was $10 more expensive, but had the Sig night sites. I figured two FCUs and four caliber conversions gives me total modularity. I like the DAO trigger but need to take a tac class with it to see how it performs.

You are set now with the 250 and as far as the tac class goes, I think you will find it interesting. I attended ours and went thtough 4 senarios with 3 different trigger styles. SAO 1911, DAO 250 and DC 2022--lost all 4 on sao(couldn't get the safety off in time and be accurate with return fire), went 2 for 4 with the dc(stange transitioning from da to sa, for me anyway) but won all 4 with the dao. Years of carrying a revolver and then a glock must of have helped.

Wow gumby! That must be it, my first firearm was a S&W 66, Glock 21 is duty, maybe that is why I like the P250! Thanks for sharing and it looks like you are still busy now that you've retired!
