I took my new 40 x-change kit to the range Sunday to try 100 rounds. No FTF or FTE. I did have two fail to load when the previous cartridge ejected. Re-racking the slide ejected the good partially-chambered round and loaded the next from the magazine. Something to watch for during future shoots. The difference between racking the slide with a full magazine of 40 vs. 9 is noticeable. The 40 is smooth and you wouldn't know if it's a full magazine or just one left. With the 9mm, I can tell a full stack from the first 1/2" of pull. Groupings were good. Overall I'm happy with my new 40.

Congrats!!! One of these days, I'm gonna start my caliber xchange buying. Guess I need to find a part time job to pay for all my hobbies. |

glad to hear your conversion kit is working well. I took mine out a few weeks ago and most of the issues I was having have gone away, I think I just needed the springs on the mags to wear in a little.
