Hello all. I am on the hunt for parts for a P250 subcompact, non railed. I recently acquired one in 40 S&W and am looking for mags, barrel and a slide for 9mm. I cant find any X-change kits anywhere and the one place I did find one, they still want like $400 for it. Although I have several SIGs (my favorites, by the way), I usually carry the sub as my EDC. However, my wife has started to carry and she likes it too, but with her arthritis the 40 gives to much kick for her hands. She can handle a 9mm well, but I need to find parts to convert. I found mags (at CDNN online) and a barrel (Midwest gun works) , now I just need a slide. OR, if by chance anyone has one to sell or trade or knows where thee are Caliber X-Change located, please provide info. It would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hello and welcome.

Conversion kits do appear to be in short supply, but there seem to be a fair number of pistols out there.

It may less expensive to buy a pistol and sell the excess parts you do not need.

I would have to agree with Steve; it may be easier and cheaper to buy an entire pistol. Also, the 9mm are scarce while the .40 cal can be had anywhere.
Good luck.

There is a 9mm 2sum set (full size and subcompact kits with a single FCU) on Gunbroker with a Buy-It-Now price of $450.

The way I think about it, that would be $150 for the FCU and $150 each for the exchange kits.

The listing is titled "Sig Sauer p250 9mm full size compact SUM free ship".

Definitely easier to buy a complete pistol, than chasing down an exchange kit. They seem to go for crazy money when they appear on any of the trading sites.

Good luck in your search!

This is an old thread, I know... but I gotta take a chance and see... did you ever get what you need? Because I am wanting to convert my P250SC from 9mm to .40. PM me or email me if you would like to talk about a trade.
