I just received a FS .45 X-Change kit for my P250. I have the Compact and SubCompact and several other kits for various other calibers (8 in total). The FS (M) grip I received has a different set of (guards? tabs? molding? - see pics) that will not accept the P250 slide catch. It came with a P320 kit to swap it out with a P320 slide catch, but it will only match that particular grip. It functions on the rest of the P250 kits but then doesn't match the (guards? tabs? molding?) of those kits. Any one else running into this? Are all the new .45 FS X-Change kits using this newer grip? If I order just a FS grip in .45 will I end up with just another of these?

P250/P320 FS Grip 1

Order the new part or remove the offending material on the grip module. No big deal.

Thanx.

I know how to grind, and I know how to order parts. My questions were:

Any one else running into this? (If yes do you have any info on why this P320-only grip is being sold as a P250 grip?) It doesn't match the description of photo on the box, and I haven't seen this grip anywhere online.

Are all the new .45 FS X-Change kits using this newer grip? (Can I/we expect to see this moving forward and I should just keep it and use the P320 slide kit and save myself money and time)

If I order just a FS grip in .45 will I end up with just another of these? (Will I just end up with the same problem if I order a FS grip by itself and be right back where I started, less $45 - or will I get a grip that works with the P250 and I can sell this grip to the P320 guys.) I'd like the option to resell the kit down the road and don't want a ground down grip to drive the price down.
