Hey all,
I've searched for a while and I don't see any threads on this. I've got a P250SC in 9mm that I want to convert to .40 but those x-change kits are impossible to find. But I ran across a .40 barrel for sale and it got me thinking...

Can I swap out my barrel, recoil spring & magazine to change the caliber from 9mm to .40?
Another way to ask it is: what differences are there (if any) between the 9mm slide and the .40 slide?
The most important dimension would be the OD of the two barrels, and whether the slides are matched.

Thanks!

9mm slide has a smaller hole (for the barrel) in one end and the area under the extractor is narrower than on the .40.

OK, I figured it was probably too good to be true. Thanks.
