You may try experimenting with P229 springs.
There are posts on this site that the P229 guide rod and spring are sent out by Sig as replacements for broken plastic rods P250 Compact in 9mm. I don't know if the same rod is in the .40 but it may be worth a try.
If you have a subcompact you would have to cut the spring down, as well as the guide rod it you went with one from a P229.
I just checked the fit of a P229 guide rod in my .380, which is the only P250 I have. If fits, it racks but it protrudes slightly.
Wolfe Gunsprings sells springs for the P229 in several different weights, as well as a three pack with three different heavier weights at a slight discount.

Recoil Spring Assembly would fit in a P250? I figured if the barrels are the same they probably would however I wasn't sure if the slides were similar enough for them.
I have also considered trying the
DPM recoil reduction system but I have read mixed reviews as to whether the reduction in recoil is noticable or significant.
I am considering switching to the dual captured recoil sping assembly to see if it helps with the recoil of the .357 SIG or .40cal cartridges.
