I have used Blue Dot as well as VV320 and 700X, currently using AA5 for my reloads but staying with 700X for the wife as it is softer shooting. The thing about Accurate Arms powders is you have to make sure you have a completely supported chamber or Do Not Use It. I like to use VV320 because it gives good velocity with low pressure, it is expensive though $40 a lb. compared to AA5 at $25 per pound. For Blue Dot I use 7.7 grn under a 124 grn fmj w/CCI primer at 1.120 COL. With AA5 I use 6.3 grn under 115 grn FMJ w/CCI primers and col of 1.095. 700X I use 4.4grn under a 115 FMJ w/CCI primer at 1.090 col. When I have it I use VV320 4.3 grn under 124 grn FMJ w/CCI primer and 1.142 COL.
It is good to see a fellow reloader in the community finally. I have been using blue dot for 115gr, 124gr, and 147gr XTPs but have just switched over to starting to use titegroup for 115gr hi-tek coated lead bullets from bayou as its much cheaper to reload. im currently running them at 4.2gr with an OAL of 1.100 +-.005 and am seeing great results from it but haven't been able to find a good load for 124gr hi-tek coated lead. I was going to buy a copy of lyman's 48th edition but they are sold out at all local stores currently so I am probably going to have to order one.
